Jan 5th 2010 5:13PM (Joystiq)EA producer predicts cheaper games ... more premium extras
Jan 5th 2010 3:20PM (Joystiq)- I am not "disappointed" in BioWare because they are making an expansion, I am happy they are. I am dissappointed because that EA Canada Rep his full of horseshit with his comment stating that the prices for a core game will be cheaper with additional costs going towards DLC. No, that is completely contradictory with what happened to Dragon Age, especially with the $40 they are asking for an expansion. Someone mentioned Fallout 3, that games expansions added many hours of additional gameplay for half the price. I stick to what I'm saying, they're money grubbing offering less and asking for more $$ compared to what most other companies do and have been doing for a long time.
- And no, the Warden's Keep storage expansion is sorely needed. It would not be fun wasting time trying to juggle and decide what equipment/items to hang on to. Get a clue, look at what the PC modding community has done to try to get storage. I am not the only one who complained about this, there were MANY before me right when the game came out.
And BTW, I'd STFU up because you are looking like a complete hypocritical idiot, learn to read and stop making shit up.
EA producer predicts cheaper games ... more premium extras
Jan 5th 2010 1:49PM (Joystiq)Dragon Age for example is $60, then you NEED to pay an additional $7 for the Warden's Keep DLC (which was released the day the game came out) so you can a get the extra storage space. So to fully enjoy DA, you have to pay $67, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED WITH THE GAME!
Now the just announced expansion pack they want $40 for, like WTF? $40 for an expansion??? An expansion that supposedly takes 15~17 hrs to finish, that's about a third of the original campaign. Expansions have always historically been $30 or less.
EA/BioWare are just effin MONEY GRUBBING SCUM!
I really liked BioWare, man I'm disappointed with them..
