It's good to see more companies giving GameSpot some competition. For those of you in Australia, there are two companies I know of that do mail order trading:
www.replaygames.com.au - Prices similar to EB but seems to trade all formats
www.gamesxchange.com.au - Only does "current" generation games but seems to offer a fair bit more than EB on average.

EB Australia currently has a listing for "Halo Recon". I think it's safe to guess the retailers are just getting SKU's ready so that once the announcement is made they can change the name and start getting those all-important pre-orders.

Speaking for Australia, Nintendo announced on Tuesday that DS and Wii's were completely out of stock. Microsoft announced on Wednesday that the XMAS pack (Pro pack) was out of stock. You can still get the Arcade, but the Elite is in VERY small numbers too.

Looks like the only console you can just walk in and buy are Sony's. There are lots of PSPs, PS2 and PS3's around!

I remember hearing that Sigma was only made so Team Ninja could try out coding on the PS3 and see what they thought if it.

Now Ninja Gaiden 2 is announced as a 360 exclusive. I guess we now know what they think of the PS3.

You claim not to be a Sony fanboy what everything that comes out of your mouth sounds like more Sony marketing BS. Will you give it up with the RROD. I own a 360, yes my first one died...after 17 months. The new one (and it is a new one, not a refurb) is noticeably cooler.

But to say the 360 isn't worth buying because they had an initial design flaw that has since been fixed? Does that mean all those people who bought PS2's where wrong after the whole DRE issue with early models.

At least MS owned up to the problem and extended everybodies warranties. It took a class action for Sony to respond, and even then they didn't take total responsibility. I might be on my 2nd 360, but I'm on my 4th PS2.

And wait until all those PS3's are 2-3 years old. Then we'll see just how good the components Sony used this time are.

As soon as I heard the 360 was going to play everything, including some original XB games, in HD I had to have one. I've since amassed 51 360 games and 44 XB games. The last game I actually finished was GTA:LCS (PSP version).

Most of my "free time" is not at home, so my DS gets a lot of love with either puzzle games (Picross/Zendoku) or Pokemon!!

I sometime wonder why I keep buying games I don't have time to play, and the only answer I have come up with eventually I will play them, and I don't want to miss out...

What about Oblivion? They made an "entire game work" but couldn't get downloadable content working.

Are you telling me that Bethesda doesn't want more money?

Or maybe it really is a case of two much work for too little pay-off. Not everybody who buys the game will buy the DLC, and when you're potential audience for one console is already between 1/3rd and 1/2 the other...

And who said GTA was developed primarily on PS3?!? Like jas said, GTA is using the RAGE engine, and the only other use of RAGE so far is Table Tennis on 360!

That OPSM quote from Rockstar about the difficulties in coding for each console has been taken out of context so many times now it's not funny anymore!
