I'm talking solely about the Rock Band 2 trophies, not other games. While the game itself is fun, and I play it all the time, I would consider it a chore to have to chug through all the World Tour shenanigans again just to get back to where I am now, especially when it takes 900 stars to unlock the Endless Setlist 2. That's a lot of hours to have to go back and play again.

The only thing I'd consider using this for would be for those game saves that can't be copied, like Rock Band and Mega Man. It's really inconvenient to have to start from the beginning again, especially for Rock Band 2, where you need to play through hundreds of songs to unlock all the trophies. That's a lot of hours I don't really want to waste again trying to get a few trophies.

I haven't read through all the responses, so somebody might have mentioned this already, but...

The point of a demo is to see if you like the game and are interested in playing it. Say you play the demo and hate the game. Why would you want to pay money to play the demo of a game you ultimately don't like and won't buy? That's not really fair. That's like paying MySpace or iTunes a fee for previewing a song before you buy it. It doesn't make a lot of sense. I think demos should be a part of the production process, even if they're only released at the same time the full game is. People like to know what they're buying without having to pay for that information.

Final Fantasy IX was the best of them all. So happy! :]
