I have a question about Sony and Blu-Ray. If Blu-Ray is so awesome, why are Sony movies showing up on HD-DVD??? Such as Underworld. It's not for release in the US, but it's definitely a Sony movie on HD-DVD. And from what I understand, Underworld is not the only Sony movie being released on HD-DVD.

I have a question that I wish someone could answer for me. Currently, the consensus is that Blu-Ray is selling movies at a 2:1 ratio over HD-DVD. So for every three HD movies sold, two of them are blu-ray. However, Blu-Ray players sold enjoy a 5:1 ratio over HD-DVD players. Wow, a huge lead, Blu-Ray must be stomping HD-DVD! Does anyone else see the problem here? What this tells me is that owners of Blu-Ray players (i.e. the PS3) are not buying Blu-Ray movies at the same attach rate as owners of HD-DVD players. If I am a movie studio, I want my movies in the hands of the people buying a lot of movies, not just a couple here and there. I believe this is a huge factor in Paramount switching over. I think this is also born out in the livingrooms in my neighborhood as well. Most owners of both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD systems (myself included) have a larger HD-DVD library than Blu-Ray. This has definitely been my experience. Blu-Ray is not going to win at that rate. (Most likely, we will have both formats for a long time to come.)

If you need more time for games, stock up on 5 hour energy. It's awesome! Each day I spend 9 hours a day at work, 4 hours commuting, 3 hours gaming, 3 hours doing stuff around the house and yard, 3 hours being social, and 2 hours sleeping. I am dead tired when I wake up, but after a shot of 5 hour energy, I am good to go. Of course, I am not sure how this sleep deprivation will affect me in the long run.........

I saw that Dreamworks is also switching over to HD-DVD exclusivity as well. I read this on engadget earlier in the day. So much for the format war being over :P Not that I care, I can play both formats.

I own 22 HD-DVD's, 5 Blu-Rays, and 512 Single DVD's, and 102 DVD Box Sets. Add that to the ridiculous amount of games and systems I own, and it's sadly clear that I have no life :P
