@Fallow, I agree with you completely! The only reason I buy console versions of FPS games is because of split screen, I always bring my friends over for some CoD/FIFA sessions. No splitscreen makes me sad :(
I seriously cannot see how it's more fun to play online with someone you barely know than to play right besides your friends.
Uhh... I don't which Counter-Strike you're playing, but both 1.6 and Source (and even CZ) have weapons with very different recoil levels. And no we don't play the same maps over and over again, that's far form the truth: since it's a PC game we get many and many usermade maps, some of which are really really good.
@Cranky Penguin, It's not the fact that the DLC is not available on Steam, is the fact that they're trying to sell DLC through the game client instead of Steam.
