And ya know what? That is just fine that it may be longer. Let's enjoy the current 3 and let there become a bigger gap so that the next generation is INDEED a bigger improvement that the previous.
I tried Civ 4 on PC and didn't really care for it. I was more an Age of Empires 3 kinda guy. After trying the Civ Rev Demo on XBOX Live I will definently be getting this on opening day! This game rocks! It is so much fun to play while still being challanging. I love the crazy animations as well.
I preordered it and played the 10 Day Beta that came with it. I liked the graphics. The gameplay was fun. It has built in voice chat. The dungeons were exciting. I loved the combat. You can move around during combat instead of just standing in one place like most MMO's. I don't know about the guy/gal before that posted that it took a long time to get a party as I was in a party within 5 to 10 mins 99% of the time. If he thinks that is long then I suggest he NEVER play FF XI. he he
I am slightly concerned about the content in the game. I think Turbine has a great track record about adding content so thats why I am only slightly concerned. You cap at level 10 but thats slightly misleading as there are 4 levels per level called ranks so its really level capped at 40 if you wanna look at it that way.
I say get the game and try it as it is different than MMO's that are out now. And within a few months we will know if it has staying power.
