D/P would've been damn near perfect in my book if the GTS hadn't been gimped (you could only trade for pokemon you'd already seen), forcing people without Pokemon-playing friends to either buy copies of the old games, use message boards, or use cheat devices.

I'm not even convinced this was a real game put out by a real publisher anymore, and not a bunch of forum posters trying to see how ridiculous they could make the "rip-offs." Why else would someone use assets from Hexxen?

Speaking of mispellings, in the second paragraph it should be "whose" not "who's." Just thought it was ironic and all...
