They probably will use some kind of funky mirror thing, but it isn't as easy as it sounds. As I understand it, regular old mirrors wouldn't reflect enough of the laser's energy to stop the mirror itself from burning up.

@Vcize I did this too. And then after I had deleted it, I couldn't remember how to actually get to the Game Video section of the Marketplace. Pretty stupid, eh? Except that the new dashboard is so cluttered and full of irrelevant junk that's it's getting harder and harder to navigate, especially for "casual" gamers (I would now consider myself part of this category).

For a company that is all about UI/OS design they have done a poor job with the Xbox dashboard. And all the "apps" they are releasing suck. Being in Canada, I can't use some of the new ones, but the Twitter/Facebook interfaces are so slow, if they exposed this dashboard application API they would have tons of people building way better apps.

But, they don't want that, because they want to make people buy Gold. Gold so you can browse Facebook on your Xbox, using a crappy interface that they probably spent hundreds of man-hours developing. Anyways, I'm done the rant, hah.

@WMcPete Well I've got to admit there are a lot of zombie references, cowboys and zombies isn't one I've seen before. :)

I kept expecting the trailer to end, but it kept going. I agree, finally a decent length trailer for a game! And it wasn't just repeating a bunch of features again and again. Although, it didn't really show any "features" at all since there was no gameplay, but still.

I actually watched it thinking it was for a game, and then by the end figured I was wrong and hadn't heard about the CG movie they were making.

Then I re-read the summary and confirmed that it was a for a game. But it definitely could do well in other media too!

How many hours would he/she have to have played in order for it not to be worth it? If they put in 1000 hours, they would be making $1000 an hour. :) They'd have to have a pretty sweet job to have made this not worth it, even if they quit, since not many jobs pay $1,000,000 over the number of days this contest has been running!

At least in Canada, participants in contests of this nature can not be related to any employees. Maybe not even acquaintances.

Is there any limit on a Memory Card's maximum size though? That would mean that there would be plenty of demand for another Datel product that allowed the use of any USB Mass Storage Device as a "Memory Card", since it would get around the 16GB limit.

I would be interested in that. Especially since, if there is no limit on Memory Card's size and Datel wins, they will probably remove the artificial 16GB limit. Could be the end of the 360 harddrive monopoly!
