I’m split on the whole issue. Every system in my house runs Linux but for my PS3 Slim (obv reason why it cant). I accept that Sony want to prevent things going the way of the X360… but then, these systems were sold with ‘other OS’ support, and it seems more than mean to block the early adopters from having a feature they may have bought the device for.

You’ve just mentioned the entire industry ’cept one or two indie titles. What makes this unique to Move? :P

If anyone read the developer diaries on their site, you’d know Microsoft approached them to *fund* development of Darwinia+, and that they’ve had costly delays because what they produced wasn’t up to scratch and MS told them to work on it more.
I’d feel much happier about their comments if I were ignorant of the developer - but since I have followed them for years and own all their releases - does seem like a bit of pro-Microsoft spin on their part.

They were fairly insistent that Darwinia+ has to be profitable, or they will fold. Just bear that in mind.

I too promised to buy a PS3 when they made a cheaper and less power hungry version. Launch day PS3 Slim purchase, and it has been awesome.
My first next gen console… (filled the gap with a PSP and shockingly, Morrowind under WINE)
