@shorty606 specs dont make it a gaming device. Its the experience you have while playing the game. And the PSP has that beat with its buttons and game library. YESiphone ipod have 1000's of games but only a handful are true solid games that can compare to the PSP. Having 100's of puzzle and mini games with a few cool shooters doesnt make it equals.

The point of the commercial is the gaming experience GFX and controls dont even compare...The iphone is lacking in both departments.

1 tech demo from a developer doesnt make the iphone the new king of the hill.Yes it sells a ton of low cost games BUT real gaming will always be a better experience on a device that has buttons.

People who want a wider more in depth variety of games will still choose the PSP or whatever Sony & Nintendo releases next that at its core is a gaming device. The iphone or Ipod Touch are gaming devices secondary and PMPs 1st.

WHS has been the most reliable version of windows for me. My HP Mediasmart has also been the best tech iv purchased in years.

Having 3Tbs of data stored in a nice clean looking box for users to access locally and outside the house is great.now i just need to replace a dead WD OS drive and bring my baby back to life.

@tobiasg just tried it thats kinda disappointing that they limit you to using the streaming apps only for voice search music. I keep my music on my SDcard and dont use pandora or last.fm.

Hopefully in a cooked ROM someone will make changes to the voice search app to search music locally.

Once the car dock and Home dock are released this feature will be #1 to a lot of people.Almost total hands free use of your phone.

@Tes Well apple allowed avi Playback on iPad. So mkv is possible in the near future.

Besides what engadget reader doesn't hack their harfware? I would never sit back and wait for any company to provide features.

i dont purchase movies from the app store so the only interest this has with me is will it play Avi or MKV files? Currently i have my Mac mini and MBP with Plex and XBMC running the show and i cant imagine Apple can do a better job then either of these amazing apps.

But for people who rent or will purchase from apple this prob is a good buy. And NO i dont pirate everything.
