How about dropping the price in Australia, Sony. We're already paying more than the rest of the world for an inferior product (don't say we didn't want backwards compatibility). We're playing $250 AUD more than the US, no technically they can afford to drop the price here if they reduce diode costs.
That's just a norm in Australia. I work in an independent store, and we gut game boxes and put them in plastic sleeves, using the case as a display box. Needless to say, this also happens in the larger chain stores like EB.
It's just how we operate because most of the time we don't have enough spare cases to place POS displays in.
