I'm definitely going to finish it. You're correct in saying that is the point, but I felt I needed a break after overloading myself with the first two books over such a short time period :P

I have not seen the show yet. I have read the first two books and am around half way through the third. I had to put it down earlier this year due to school work and getting bored of the Jamie chapters (I just hate the guy lol). I'll get hooked once again for sure though. Right now I'm reading Halo: Glasslands (a lot better than some reviews lead me to believe so far) and might start the forerunner trilogy afterward.

If it's as big as the PS3 patch, I'll probably just pass for now.

I would buy it if I needed a new controller.

I need to buy some peeps now.

Gaming systems have evolved into entrainment systems. The main reason my family bought a PS2 was for its DVD playing functionality.

That would not work. Those execs would have sponsors with tons of money. Those sponsors would send the competitors the materials required to run the business from within the arena. They'd continue making money and sponsors would send them materials to build things in the arena to make it into the perfect paradise.
