I don't particularly have a problem with it but I get a little worried seeing as though EB does an 7 day exchange (even if played) on any new game bought. What if I'm getting a game that has already been out in the wild.
As for HAVING to gut the case for display purposes, I go to my local video rental shop and they have seperate cases for this purpose. Not that hard to have one display case FAKE or otherwise.
