Put creepers on your sneakers with these custom Minecraft Vans

@MrKlorox Ah, there are some actual images on the ebay link. I gotta say they're not as awful as they could be.

Yeah, but how do they actually look? This is clearly just a mockup.

MX vs. ATV is Alive with DLC trailer

May 1st 2011 7:14PM (Joystiq)
@The Cole Train The game is trying to go halfway between the Free to Play (microtransaction based) and Full Game spectrum. The only way they can release a full featured game at a budget price it to offer tons of post-purchase purchases. It's perfectly suitable for what the publisher is attempting.

Honestly, I'm all for a budget priced MX vs ATV game. Those games are fun, but I'm not into them enough to spend the money to buy a full priced game. I'm glad THQ are trying things.

James Cameron says 3D being propelled by video games

@SewerShark Home computers were expensive too when they were new. And those things never got cheaper or better. They should have thrown the concept of computers out the window back in the early 20th century. What a gimmick microchips are, right?

@spyder Since you're not using one of your eyes for anything, you should just have it plucked from your skull. I mean it's just a waste of resources and energy, right?

Duh? Being able to manually control your viewports and stuff like convergence and separation are instrumental to a good 3d experience. You can't do this with movies.

Eventually in the future, we'll start seeing movie-like passive experiences set in game engines, allowing us to set those unique to the viewer and necessary elements. Also eye tracking technology will really make 3d look amazing.

Fallout: New Vegas patch coming to all platforms

Apr 13th 2011 12:42AM (Joystiq)
"No, not its apocalyptic levels of irradiation -- THE GAME-CRASHING BUGS AND OTHER PERFORMANCE-WRECKING SNAFUS that pepper the game's ruined landscape.

According to a recent post on Bethesda's blog, a patch targeting "optimizations and stability improvements" is currently in the certification process for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. "

What an incredibly contradicting pair of sentences. The capitalized stuff you claim they are not fixing does indeed fit under the stuff they say they are fixing.

Child of Eden has a 'corset peripheral' (which you'll probably never see)

@JBourne Get a Buttkicker for your chair/couch. I have a couple and they're waaaay better than regular old rumble for music. It feels like you're riding the bass like a rollercoaster when under the proper influence.

But the controller idea is still cool because each of them can have a different beat and pattern.

@ProtesttheHiro Me too. In fact he called it a vest in another interview. Corset sounds like poor translation.
