How is making money off of your PS3 ripping people off? A PS3 may not be worth $1400 to you, but it obviously is worth that amount to the highest bidder.
I had an original unopened copy of FFVII that someone paid $120 for. He did not feel ripped off. He was really happy that he won the auction.
