The Wii fanboys here are nuts. How do you justify the technological capability of the Wii by using the PS2's great library of games? They were great when they came out. But the PS2 actually advanced hardware over the PS1. It didnt come out with nearly the same system specs as its predecessor. It was an improvement... now its old and has been upgraded. Same with Xbox. As a gamer I want technological progress. Luckily we're getting it with 360 and PS3. Nintendo fanboys can play their minigames and stale 15 year old franchises (mario, metroid, zelda).

Super Lame. Next time I'll just pirate the app instead of buying.

They just need to switch to the Unreal 3 engine. And rewrite the game. Then it'll be ready.

I actually trust these guys... they wont release crap. And I dont blame them. Duke Nukem is a valuable brand. If they release a crappy game it could do them millions of dollars in damage to their IP.

Damn. I need some good DirectX 10 games to play. Anyone have recommendations? Especially ones that arent 360 ports (I already played through Lost Planet and it was pretty mediocre, though fun at times).

Damnit, I need Crysis and Unreal Tournament 2007. Even the PC isnt immune to the 2007 game drought... though we're more used to it than console gamers.

I hope they get the load times down to a reasonable level. I'd at least be happy with 60 seconds per area.

I enjoyed Postal 2 (kind of like how someone would enjoy a bad bad movie). But 5 minute load times between areas was enough to crack the game cd in half.

Just sold my Wii and all games. For about 50 bucks less than I paid (at launch) so its like I paid 10 bucks a month to rent it.

I'll buy back a used one at the end of the year when some decent games come out for it. I rented Super Paper Mario and it made me gag. Its really a kids game.

Metroid and the Wii X games are really the only ones I'm looking forward to playing. I was fed up with Mario after the Super Mario 3.

The big news here is that NCAA 08 isn't on the list for PS3. That's a pretty huge game for playstation fans and the Xbox 360 will be the only next gen platform with it.

I have both the 360 and PS2 versions of NCAA 07 and besides the more features on the PS2, I can't stand the graphics.

Whats the over/under on the final price? I'm guess no one bids ($0)

Terrible news. But hopefully they'll have a stable dev version by WWDC so our favorite mac shareware will be released at the same time as the OS. I don't really care much about Time Machine or Spaces (Virtual Desktops) anyways. What I really want is Objective C 2.0 and upgraded software to take advantage of the huge API improvements they are making.
