Fuzz, man, you are not familiar with the realities of the system. Illegal immigrants are not given federal assistance, for food and healthcare. Their children, if they are born here, are. Should the United States take this away? Why should a child have to pay for a crime their parents committed (crossing the border)? As far as not paying taxes, pop open the New York Times every now and then and you'll see that illegal immigrants DO pay into the system, and very rarely claim taxes back (because of their documentation). Had it not been for them, Social Security might have died out a long time ago -- hurting your own relatives. Mexicans come here illegally because they are offered jobs illegally. The crime is happening on both sides: the aliens and the employers. Why just attack the aliens? If employers offered decent wages, I'm sure more native-born Americans would be working the fields. That's not happening now. You shouldn't feel threatened. In America, we live by Darwin's rule. If you get yourself a good education -- and double-check the facts -- there is no reason to feel threatened by immigrants looking to live a humble, and oppressive-free, existence here. Without health and food assistance, these people are left to their own hard work and perseverance to survive and give their kids the lives they never had. And, yes, my father came here illegally, but is now a citizen.
Posted by SketchFactor at 5/16/2007 5:22 AM PDT We're happy to announce that starting immediately, a new title update for Crackdown is available on Xbox Live that will enable downloading of the Halo 3 Beta. Also, as a consolation for lost time and inconvenience, we are extending the Halo 3 Beta end date to Sunday, 6/10, at 11:59 PM PDT.
I still can't even buy these fucking maps. Tells me the purchase won't go through. It doesn't say where I can add my credit card info, so I bought extra points and I can't do shit with them. Fuck you, Microsoft and your buggy systems.
That's what you get for supporting a developer and their regurgitated crap. Hope someone does this to them http://youtube.com/watch?v=487zekfEiQ8 Serves 'em right.
Dude, nothing to advertise. I just thought how senseless it was that people are kind of abusing what Mr. Jobs did with the Apple TV. Let's just let the little bugger do what it was supposed to do: play our files on our big screens. Like in that video, I empathize with Steve Jobs being 'slammed to the wall' with users tapping functionality beyond what the Apple TV was meant to perform. Actually, I just ate a whole bowl of skittles at this spring break party, and I don't really know what it is I'm saying. Will probably regret this tomorrow. Probably regret it later tonight.
