that may be, but looking at the screenshots its using resources ripped directly from the Nintendo games, so its not gonna stand on that ground

@SpeedGun funny, because the unit tests at http://samples.msdn.microsoft.com/ietestcenter/ seem to show that its support for CSS3 is pretty good, and better than the other ones can do currently

from the report I initially read on this, these patents Motorola had previously been paying for the license for, but let the agreement lapse and didn't renew it.

could be a huge boost to it once its firm. when it comes down to it DirectX is a lot more sane a programming API than OpenGL is (Longs Peak, I'm looking at you!), so having it as an option makes things a lot more accessible. this way, everyone wins.

yah they've done a few streaming things before, I caught a stream of a live for charity Paul McCartney concert, that was pretty awesome.

but yah this looks like its user broadcasting like Seb said.. and totally awesome!
