TERA castanic armor renders revealed

I'll be in my bunk.

Go on a Fable II Orb Quest, go visit Molyneux

Oct 23rd 2008 2:03PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I guess this means we have to stomach co-op for more than an hour to be able to register... darn, 5 minutes is about all I can handle of that dreck.

Sorry, don't mean to be a downer, the game overall is really fun (and addicting as heck), but the one time I tried co-op, I wanted to stab something... but couldn't because my henchman was too far away and I couldn't get close enough to the bandits. Shared camera and proximity limitations are the work of the devil.

Give me Too Human's co-op mode any day and twice on Sundays compared to this.

Joyswag: PlayStation 3 (40GB)

The Video Game Fairy, of course! Unfortunately, I haven't been a good boy recently, so I need this PS3 to offset my lack of recent video game acquisition due to my shenaniganry and hooliganism.

SpaceShipTwo, White Knight Two designs unveiled: aren't they cute?

Jan 23rd 2008 5:16PM (Engadget)
'Twould appear they do have "landing gear": the dark spot on the nose is supposedly a high-friction skidpad. You can just barely read it on the schematic image of SpaceShipTwo.

Belly-landing a multi-million-dollar spacecraft with a half-dozen people inside who have more money than sense? Sounds like Branson's doing what he can to be named richest man in the world through simple attrition... six at a time.

Yarrr, yar yaar yarr yaaaarrrrr!

Cooldowns are meant to be hot!

Oct 24th 2007 2:28PM (WoW)
I'm in the same boat as Paul. I consider myself a pretty good Frost Mage, except when it comes to managing my cooldowns, especially ol' Bubbles. The Water Elemental accounts for a remarkable amount of a Frost Mage's potential DPS, but why do I only bring him out on bosses, and then only when I remember?

I've been getting better at this now that I'm in Kara and have to bring my A-game, but I just noticed last night that my DPS (according to RecapFu) literally jumped almost 75% (!) when I brought my W/E out for the first time in that raid. After that, I realized pretty quickly that he's much more effective when used as often as possible, even on trash, as it helps us clear things quicker.

Of course, controlling him and making sure he doesn't do anything stupid ("Who broke Shackle?" "Stupid water pet.") is an entirely different matter. :-)

Definitely Grunts. I like keeping my kneecaps from being gnawed on by little aliens, thank you very much.
