Oh, how I want it :(

Feel the yearn.

Revolutionary: Changing Channels

I don't know if that was an intentional Hudsucker Proxy reference or not... but thank you :D

VC Emulation ---> DS would be so amazing, probably what I wish for most (anyone find that they never get to spend enough time with their VC purchases? Playing them on the go would be pretty clutch). I don't see it happening though.

So You Think You Can Dance: Season Finale

Aug 17th 2007 11:00AM (AOL TV)
I think that Sabra is overrated. I would have rather seen any of the other three win. But oh well.

I was also disappointed that there was no Mia Michaels Lacey/Kameron routine last night. I think Kameron was the only one in the top 10 that we didn't see any dances from.

I was glad, however, to see three dances from Sara. I loved all of those three dances the first time around, so it was nice to see them again.

So You Think You Can Dance: Week 3 Results

I don't know, I don't think it was a bad decision to send Jessie home. I think that all of the girls did sub par solos, and Jessies was the worst. I found her solo to be boring, but maybe that was just me. She had a poor solo last week and the judges told her that she would have to step up her solo if she ended up in the bottome three again, but she didn't.

As for the guys, it's a shame that Cedric didn't get the chance to go home. I wonder how long we'll have to deal with pity votes from the fans. When Neil was in the bottom I had originally hoped for him to go home (not that I have anything against him, but I like Danny and Jesus better) but his solo was great. I wish Jesus hadn't gone though, he was my favorite of those three :(

On another note... what was with the "Pasha is my boyfriend/wannabe boyfriend" stuff from Jessie? It all seemed really awkward to me. Either he's more than a "wannabe" boyfriend or she is really, really pining for him, lol.

So You Think You Can Dance: Week 3

Jun 28th 2007 10:19AM (AOL TV)
I agree with the poster above about Jamie and Hok. Yeah, their performance was amazing (I love Wade!) but how the heck is that jazz??? It definitely seemed contemporary to me. I'm no expert though, so if someone could explain that, that'd be great.

Does anyone else think that Danny and Anya were given too much credit this week? I like the two of them, and Anya was really adorable in the introduction, but the dance was really lacking for me. And it wasn't just the choreography. They seemed to be out of sync *a lot* and, like Nigel said, they seemed uncomfortable. It really shocked me how the judges were so supportive of it and any negative comments were "oh we just hold you to a higher standard."

I was also really pleasantly surprised with Lacey and Kameron. When I saw they got quickstep I had low hopes but they were awesome and entertaining. They were one of my favorite routines of the night, but they're also one of my favorite pairs so I may be biased ;)

I think the two to go this week will be Cedric and Jessie, though I also think Neil and Lauren deserve to go. Their performance this week was (to me) the worst of the night (well, maybe aside from Cedric). And what was with the cat noises in the background of the music, and Lauren singing along with the meows?!?! Did the choreographer (I forget who it was) have to hit us over the head with the cat/mouse analogy?

Even though I think it's time for Cedric to go, I think he was a class act yesterday.

WWE wrestler accused in murder-suicide

Jun 27th 2007 11:55PM (AOL TV)
Oh my God... I don't want to believe it. I was such a big Chris Benoit fan, and I just really don't want to believe that it's true.

When I heard about the murder of him and his family, I was horrified at the tragedy. But this.. this is making me sick to my stomach to think that I was a fan of someone who could do this, to his own family no less.

What a sick and twisted man.

So You Think You Can Dance: Week 2 Results

Jun 22nd 2007 2:24PM (AOL TV)
The internet seems to have eaten my comment, I posted it hours ago and it's still not here, so sorry if this ends up as a double post...

But I think it's total crap that Jimmy was kicked off. I thought his solo was awesome, and the night before he danced really well. Cedric, while doing a good solo, did horribly the other night. So good solo + good performance is better than good solo + bad performance. Plus, Cedric has no depth. He is good at what he does, and that's all.

I also thought Jessi's solo really sucked, but I think the judges cut her and Pasha some slack since they shouldn't have been on the bottom.

The decision was just stupid because it will also affect future shows. Next time that Cedric is on the bottom, we know he's gone. There will be no suspense.

I'm a woman. Not only that, one of my best friends was raped.

But seriously... people really need to lighten up.

Springfields fight over The Simpsons movie premiere

May 26th 2007 1:15PM (AOL TV)
I agree David,

I've been to Springfield, MA and it really is a dump. I've never been to the other Springfields, though, so I can't really judge. I find it funny how the mayor of Springfield, IL said his city was most like the one on the show... haha. That's definitely not something to brag about.

Grey's Anatomy: Testing 1-2-3

May 11th 2007 1:33AM (AOL TV)
Izzie and George all the way!

I love them together, and I'm loving their drama. If Callie ends up pregnant I'll be annoyed... I mean, you don't have a baby to save your failing marriage, that's not right.

Neither is cheating on your wife though...

But George, like he implied this episode, made a rash decision by marrying Callie when his father died. Something, that if he had been in the right state of mind, he never would have done. That doesn't *excuse* his actions, persay, but it at least makes them understandable. He never truly loved Callie... and she is more to blame for rushing into this marriage, since she knew he wasn't in a good state of mind.

I still feel bad for Callie because I like her, but that doesn't mean that I think that George should stay in a marriage with a woman that he doesn't/never truly loved.

Also, did anyone else find it weird that George wasn't asked to be Burke's best man over Derek, or at least that he wasn't invited to the "bachelor party?"
