PS3 TV tuner/DVR out in Japan in March

Jan 14th 2010 1:45PM (Joystiq)
...Canadians get a special sympathy pass though. If you're canadian, you can downvote me.

But the rest of you united states dwellers, bite me. I wasn't gloating, I was just stating in comparison, I didn't really need such a feature for my PS3. Most people already have DVR's, I'm surprised they need such a function for it in japan as well.

And if that 'gloating' as you call it is that bothersome, I implore you to go read a NeoGAF or GameFAQ's forum and look through the endless list of idiots gloating about how they did something in a video game and see I pale in comparison.

Simple comment is simply amusing.

Why'd I get downvoted on my comment, did people find my joke in bad taste?

I'm not saying I don't need it like an attack on Sony, I remembered midway through typing that 'Oh right, I don't need one'.

@Bradwart: Yeah, it's pretty nifty the things I can do with it. Luckily, it's plenty and the comcast DVR I used to have pales in comparison functionality wise. I've consumed very little of it and I watch stuff typically within the week after it's aired so I don't see myself running out of space.

As much as I love DishNet though, I miss Comcast's internet speeds and their on demand service...

What the fuck, why can't we get cool shit like this?

I mean sure we got Hulu but I don't like sitting in front of my computer...

Oh wait, I have a 500GB HDD in my DishNet DVR, nevermind. :D

Return to Ostagar returned to sender, conflicting title update to blame

Glad I could help, I had an 'oh shit' moment myself, but thankfully one file I'm playing everyone's already gotten their specs and I was planning to start my 7th or 8th character soon anyways. Finally got all my experimenting done that I'm going to begin working on my 'final' builds for Awakening characters.

I will say though, RtO has introduced some incredibly epic weapons. Anyone in need of some really awesome items really needs to get this once its back up.

If there's delay, I'll put up with it. The fact that we're on DLC piece three AND the first expac was announced means they are taking DLC much more seriously now. I don't think we should have to worry about you know, year long delays.

In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if Mass Effect 2 DLC comes out any month Dragon Age DLC doesn't. Granted BioWare has a lot on their plate at the moment (Dragon Age, Mass Effect AND the Old Republic), they can make it work to balance out the release cycle for these item/area packs and make a lot for a moderate price.

...Plus the teams are all divided up for who's working on what anyways, right?

Also, I'll take these 30 minute to 1 hour long packs over the Fallout ones any day of the week though... Not because the Fallout 3 DLC was bad, but there was a shit ton of content packed into each one and often, it felt a 'little' overwhelming.

There are four talents to each spec. With ALMOST all the party members (Dog, Shale and Sten not counted) everyone needs a minimum of 8 points to max their specializations out.

Essentially, you need eight levels. Since the cap is set at 25 until Awakening releases, this means you should stop playing your character(s) at 18 and save all level ups for everyone until its patched.

Mathematically speaking, it really isn't as huge as a problem as some forum goers have complained. It just means that for now, if you're working on finishing the game... It's a good time to start a new character.

This isn't as bad as it seems. It just means taking your character beyond level 17 without having spent the points is a bad idea.

It's a game hurting bug that came out of nowhere and clearly, it wasn't what the problem last week was. DA:O seems to be such a 'complex' game in all of the data it has to factor, what with decisions made, quests finished, areas opened, items acquired...

I'm more on the side of, 'I'll tolerate this' than get annoyed by it. Plus, I like my shiny Gold Armor and oh yeah, the new swords are fantastic for slaying Darkspawn. With Maric's sword capable of putting out +24 damage against darkspawn, it makes the endgame a slaughter instead of a war.
