the gameplay has to be airtight to get people hooked. If it feels stiff like Kotor (which were really great games), it won't translate into a good MMO experience.

Also, the stats have to be displayed like in WOW, with an extensive website for world information and stat viewing. If they have a crappy inventory like in Kotor it will take a big chunk of the MMO appeal, but if they nail those parts it should be really great.

I should be playing Darkstar One (which is more point and click then you might expect)... eh, isn't almost all pc gaming point and click? ;)

It's not so much that I'm overwhelmed rather than there is more crap you have to filter and are forced to chose from. A hardcore gamer will learn how to find the good games and ignore the bad, but normal consumers have a bigger chance of stepping in shit.
