not if that warranty is at an eb/gamestop. per company policy and recent email blasts esa returns must be for the same sku.

also, there is a 10% shopworn/open discount afforded if someone complains about a gutted game. ask for a manager next time before you stomp off. :D

I, too, work at gamestop, and find that a lot of people that share my profession give us all bad names.

For the record, if you buy a game that has been gutted, that truly should be the last copy of the game. I can't vouch for other gamestop stores or even eb stores, but the gutted copy should be the last copy in the store. If this is a defect, there are more flexible policies for gutted product. Our POS system tracks sales and shipments, so we can tell how many copies of a game we had in stock when that game was sold. That being said, most of the time, when a game is truly defective, that "new" sticker stays in the top right corner from the second they walk out to the second they bring it right back in. That's how you tell it's a gutted copy.

I understand that a lot of people working for gamestop don't deserve your time of day, but there really are decent people selling games in this company. Even if we are forced to ask for a reserve :p.
