Sep 22nd 2011 8:20PM (Joystiq)I actually disagree with you. Mostly on the grounds that the stuff that has been coming from the Enix half, has been of the highest quality, and most of the dilution of the brand has come from the works of Nomura and Kitase.

Sep 8th 2011 8:14PM (Joystiq)I think I've been spoiled by playing Amnesia before I got around to Dead Space. That game set the bar too high for horror games for me.

Jun 27th 2011 12:19PM (Joystiq)In most cases here in the US, children CAN'T buy M (17+) rated games without a parent, or being 17 themselves. One of the big things with this whole decision though, is that it should be self-enforcing, it is not the governments responsibility to regulate.

Jun 20th 2011 12:17PM (Joystiq)There probably was, but the website issues were unrelated to any shortage amount, and Nintendo of America having the amazing customer service they always do, its probably just going to print more copies of the CD to make up for all the issues.

May 23rd 2011 11:35AM (Joystiq)The more Im playing it, I'd be inclined to agree with Jay Z. The game has gotten rather tedious with you pretty much performing the exact same actions over and over again, in the exact way. (And its not that I dont like this investigation style, hell Phoenix Wright and Hotel Dusk are two of my favorite games this gen). Its really dragging at this point. I'm at the end of Vice right now and the only reason I'm pushing through still is because I know I only have 1 more desk.
Also, the game shouldn't have been open world. Theres nothing to do in it besides find random pointless crap, or poorly done sidequests that completely kill the pacing of the regular case. Combine that with some really poor writing (especially in regards to logic surrounding the end of homicide. Its quite obvious they sacrificed a lot in the story there to get it to work as a game and it shows).
It was one of those games I was really looking forward to and I'm walking away kinda disappointed. I wouldn't call it a bad game, but I wouldn't call it a particularly good one at this point either.

May 11th 2011 6:03PM (Joystiq)I think theyre trying to distance themselves from most everything they've done online previously. Rebrand themselves in the online space essentially.
Which makes sense, since outside of the VC, everything theyve done online has sucked.
