I'd say I'm 50/50 with my Xbox now - if I'm not playing a game on it, I'm probably watching Netflix. With the exception of a select few shows I DVR (WWE programming, The River, Food Network) and having access to monthly PPVs, I could easily get rid of cable. I don't see this as a bad thing, just a natural evolution of the medium.

WIth my tax refund on the way, I'm seriously considering picking up a 3DS. The time seems right, with just enough games out I want to play and promising ones on the horizon, plus bite-size gaming sessions make sense now that I have a newborn son and am up every 2 hours. If I get a chance, some WoW Raid Finder, and I have the Azura's Wrath, Syndicate, and Darkness II demos to try out. Rayman Origins is also calling to me like a siren, my OCD desire to find every last Lum may be the death of me.

Hmm, I've been a fan of "Nu-metal" for years and I can't say I've heard of
Maximum the Hormone....color me intrigued. I'll have to look into them. As far as the DLC, Sixteen Stone is one of my favorite albums, and def. my favorite Bush one. I'll be getting these songs. Bummer there's no "Little Things", though.

Now that graduation is on the horizon at last, I'm hunting Riddler trophies in Batman Arkham City. I WILL 100% this game, even if I have to use GameFAQs to do it *shudders*. Also picked up Sonic Generations for 30 bucks on Black Friday, it's not nearly as bad as everyone says. It hasn't blown me away or anything, but the speed is there and I haven't encountered any of the annoying bugs I've heard about. It doesn't hurt that the "story" breaks the fourth wall a little and points out how dumb it is. I really need to get back into Battlefield 3 multi to level and unlock gear, just hope I'm not done getting stuff by level 20 like with BF:BC 2.

Probably not much, since my wife is addicted to The Sims 3 and I have case studies due by Monday. If I find time, a LOT of side missions and Riddler trophies in Arkham City (what's a main quest?), try to finish up Deus Ex: HR so I can mail it to my friend who's dying to play it, and Gears 3 if I tire of stealthy badasses and want to just go out there and shoot aliens in the head. Maybe I'll try Sims 3 if she tires of it.

Well, I know what I WON'T be playing.....WoW, thanks to some jerk hacking my account. Actually, not that big of a deal, I was pretty much waiting for Patch 4.3 to drop before getting deep into Cata again. Batman AC, Deus Ex HR, maybe some Gears 3 Horde or Beast mode in the meantime. Possibly some Amnesia on Halloween to set the mood. The atmosphere of that game is incredible, we need more games like this.
