Totem Talk: Sentry Totem

Nov 29th 2007 1:54PM (WoW)
I have accually found uses for the Sentry Totem. While i dont use it alot, i do use it for tracking long mob spawns. Sometimes if im waiting for a mob to spawn that i know takes a while, ill drop my Sentry Totem near where it spawns then go and start killing stuff and every so often check to see if it has spawned so im not stuck waiting in there and loosing out of exp. Also comes in handy if you know if a rare mob or lootable item (such as mines, plants, quest objects) spawns at a specific area and want to keep tabs on it while leveling. Though i do wish it would stay longer so im not running back to that spot to recast it every 5 minutes.

DS Fanswag: Snag a Square Enix doubleshot

Nov 16th 2007 11:44PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Both these games are really cool in there own right for me. I love turn based strategy games, because most the times you need to think 3 or more moves ahead to implement good strategies, and while i havent really gotten into DQ games, i do like the pokemon games for its collecting of large amounts of different creatures so i figure this will appeal to me as well.

Wii Warm Up: Negativity

Apr 12th 2007 10:13PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Sure Nintendo has few third party support, and no online functions yet (PKMN Battle revolution being the first in the US and Mario Strikers Charged in the UK) but the one thing that i wonder if people are forgetting is, its only been 6 months since it came out. Most systems take at least a year for them to start to stand out. Graphically, it will look better since no system looks its best at launch. And for third part support, many developers are singing on for the Wii, EA, Ubi Soft, Atlus, Square, are starting to if not already started developing for the system. To be fair i think a new system shouldnt be judged for the first year from launch, by its first year a system starts to fully mature.
