Yeah, but Steam doesn't limit how many times you can install, install unwanted rootkits, etc. It doesn't even pose much of a block to pirates. It prevents some piracy by being extremely convenient and easy to use.

Also Valve can't control 3rd party DRM. It's not up to them.

Don't bother with the Source version. The new water effects and ragdolls just look out of place, plus with the original Half-Life you get to use all the HL1 mods which DON'T work with HL:Source.

The point of Spore is that you can create anything you want without the game telling you you're wrong.

Is there any difference between the Wii and PS2 versions of Metal Slug Anthology? I'd rather get the Wii one, but I remember hearing something about the controls not being the best.

I have the same problem as you do. I love the ideas of MMOs but I just can't stand playing them. There's nothing that hooks you in at the beginning. I only made it to level 19 in WoW before I gave up.

You don't really notice it when you're actually playing. From the screen shots they do look pretty poor.

I knew EA couldn't be trusted.

I'm pretty sure they'll put season 2 on Steam once all the episodes for it are out.

PC has mods. Lots of mods. Mods like Sven Coop and Garry's Mod would never work on a consoles.
