Game Boy fabric versus Game Boy metal

the sterling silver gameboy is an inch tall, it won't do any protecting at all except an asian man's... joking.

Hironobu Sakaguchi Mixtape: Beef with Kutaragi

those small two words are easy to miss, maybe the Vista japanese ad is bad, but it can't be worst than Apple's ads over here taking jabs at the PC.

The Gears of War ads in Japan were also terrible (one of them features an obvious fake green monster hand underneath a girl's bed), but he can't blame it all on MS's campaigning in Japan, they rather play wuss games like Final Fantasy.

Hohoho: I meant in the Gaming community, everyone has a neutral stance for this guy. He didn't deserve a pir trown in his face, any guy who finds it deserving must've not read how many humanitarian things Gates has done for the world.

ps1 launched with toshinden, a 3d fighter. That's pretty 3d to me. go check out when n64 was launch. Mario64 was 1st true 3d platformer. And go googgling articles on microsoft's antitrust trial if you think bill gates isn't being hated. I believe he was a recipient of a delicious pie at his face. Because you haven't read much on him now since he stepped down from being ceo?

Toshinden is not as big of an influence in 3D gaming as Mario 64, which was one of the biggest pioneers of that generation. Let's stick to the original argument however; you said if it wasn't for the PS1, we would still be playing 2D games, but you're creditting the PS1 just for being the first console of that generation to be out, Nintendo's intentions were to go 3D even before Toshinden.

Action games are broken, let's fix them!

27, the Wii has made games more compelling, the level of skill it takes to play any game is in the hands of the developer.

Zelda is too easy, and Metroid should stop being called a FPS when its strictly has been a FPA with barely any action in it (hope that changes for MP3). But you can't expect action games to keep your adrinaline(sp?) up every second, some slow paced moments are essential, for storytelling for example

Maybe EGM interviewed Sakaguchi (lol what a name) before Ken's fall? Or maybe Sony pressured Ken to leave because Sakaguchi and maybe other developers did not get along with him? Pathetic iether way, leave the beef to the devoted fanboys guys, stay professional. Is all this guy ever do is whine about other people's decisions, I have a Vista and it's not as bad once you get used to it.

Jaffe reviews the reviews of Calling All Cars

May 1st 2007 12:01PM (Joystiq)
"Calling All Cars! has the makings of a fun and exciting multiplayer game, but it feels more like a demo than a full game. With at least double the number of maps, weapons, and cars, this would be worth checking out. As it is now, there's just not enough content to justify spending $10 on this game. "- Gamespot

Even for 10 bucks this game isn't worth it, there's no mistake in the review, Jaffe should just admit defeat.

The game flopped! LOLL

Fanboyism aside, I should read the gamespot review before speculating, but if GS rated an arcade $10 downloadable game relative to a real $50 game, it is unfair and Jaffe would have a point.

New Gears of War maps hit this Thursday

May 1st 2007 11:50AM (Joystiq)
Les Doodis, Mass Effect is coming out in June, and Too human and Bioshock are supposively coming out in August, so x360 owners, put off your 10 bucks on those games and wait for the free map, MS should stop price gauging us.

Response to 18

"If not for the ps1, today we'll be playing hyper 1billion colour 2D sprites in full HD with superduper 5gigabit cartridges."

Both Nintendo and Sega wanted to leap into the 3D phase, don't give credit to the PS1 for being the first system of that gen out, it wasn't until after Mario 64 that the gaming industry shifted to real 3D games on consoles.

"With him retiring, the playstation brand no longer has a hate figure. Bill Gates is a evil c***. Since steve balmer took over, suddenly ms isn't as evil as before. Same could be said. Remember the old c*** hiroshi yamauchi??"

Yamauchi, along with his views, were getting old, so you're right on him and Iwata changed things around, but noone bashes bill Gates, he doesn't even intefere much except when making public speeches here and there. the Xbox "c***" would be J Allard, who too needs to retire, and Playstation's hate figure now is Mr. "Ridge Racccceeeerrr" Kaz

It's starting to sound as if we wanted democracy in this industry and the CEOs need to be replaced after every generation.
