The laundry room is right below my apartment, so when my windows are open, it can smell like laundry. Sometimes it reeks of the incredible amount of pot my neighbors smoke at all hours of the day.

Virtual-On was always so exciting, but every time I played, I was disappointed at how I wasn't used to the controls. The dual-joystick arcade is really the only way to play, but it was too rare to get enough practice :(

I was in 8th grade when Combat Evolved came out, and I was up playing late on a school night. Right before the Flood was revealed, I started to freak the hell out at all the pools of purple blood and weird symbols painted all over the structure. This was the first time I had to turn a game off because I was too scared to find out what was ahead. It's too bad subsequent Halo games didn't successfully capitalize on that kind of mystery and fear.

What was wrong with the SNES/ N64-style directional pad? PlayStation and Xbox's are so mushy. I'd rather play with something as snappy as ABXY or the Start/ Back buttons.

Because the beta is only downloaded via Square's proprietary P2P system, it is painfully slow. I have 15 connections and my download speed reads 0.0b/s.

If you want to play by the time the beta opens, start downloading now, and plan on leaving it on over a night or three.

Do we really have to choose? In that case, I have been sarcastically naughty but in reality very nice.

Man, I hate rhythm games so much. Harmonix really blew it - they might have had my money. I'm left handed, and I might actually enjoy fake playing Beatles songs. THEIR LOSS >:D

How long before someone hacks two joysticks to a desk chair's armrests? That's really the only way to play. I'll probably still buy it, though.
