wait. there's something not normal about killing?

Hindsight is 20/20. Read some Oliver Stone, Quentin Tarantino, Stephen King, etc (to name a few well known writers who tackle the dark and macabre). I'm not going to judge this kid's talents as a writer, but when travesties like this occur we all grasp for answers. We think logically, and want to know the "why". And we end up projecting our "worldview" on someone else, becuase we want to explain it as a way of coping... To paraphrase Chris Rock - "whatever happened to people just being 'crazy'?" People write dark material every single day, how many of them do something like this?

IMO the important part of this blog is Mr. Macfarlane's insight into who he was as a person and how Cho made others feel...

As for Cho's mental capacity, I can't speak to that but I do know that you need to be roughly a B student with an 1100 SAT to get in to VA Tech's general programs...
