#7 could not be more right. I'm personally outraged that this part is not going to Jason Statham. When I saw Transporter, I thought to myself "Oh, look! Agent 47 can drive!" He looks *just* like him.

I downloaded the Vista Transformation Pack that you linked to a few weeks ago, and I like its sounds better than either those of XP or Vista. In all fairness, some of the sounds from XP have been recycled, but the new ones are great.
If/when I upgrade to Vista, perhaps I'll try to come up with a way to keep these current sound effects.

The view espoused at the end of this post, that embedded and shared video is a wonderful promotional tool and that it is "suicidal" to ignore it is currently a very popular opinion. I remain, however, unconvinced of its veracity. Is there an example of a company that has suffered for ignoring shared video? While its true that I enjoyed watching the daily show and colbert report clips on YouTube, when they were pulled I did not turn to comedy central to fill the void. It seems to me that Comedy Central is providing content that they are not being rewarded for monetarily if it is available for free on the internet. Perhaps some medium is required.

In a semi-related topic, they announced RE-4 would be ported to the PC sometime last year, and the ubisoft web site still says it's due in May of 06. I'm wondering if anyone knows the story on that.

I look forward to Mass Effect more than any game on any system (with the possible exception of Bioware's as of yet unnanounced DS game.)

I would be so painfully happy if they made planescape torment for the DS. And I know Bethesda has the rights, but a fallout style game would also rock really really hard.
But yeah, I'd settle for some mass effect type stuff.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Michael Ironside's ongoing performance as Sam Fisher.
