I started playing video games because of my grandma. She had beat Super Mario World (w/ Game Genie haha) and Donkey Kong Country. She got me Donkey Kong country and other stuff. She played a lot of SNES. But, like my mother, they both stopped at SNES. “It got too complicated.”

Can we not compare Wii to Google, Yahoo!, Napster, et al? Those were new products by new companies that took a few years to catch on and gain popularity. Not a new product by an old company that hasn't done anything totally weird like this before. I just find them to be really stupid comparisons.

That being said, I don't like the name, but it is a good move for Nintendo after all.

iPods only support mp3s encoded bitrates up to 320kbps. So, even if it was a great sounding system(which it looks isn't really the case..) it would still sound not that great. 320kbps over any loud big sound system still sounds shit.
