I love that it's got Harry Potter on it. Which isn't available in a legal eFormat, as far as I'm aware.
No DRM on this baby!

How would you change Microsoft's Zune HD?

Oct 10th 2009 9:32AM (Engadget)
Create a small "USB Mass Storage" partition. Allow a user to copy media into that. Have th zune scan it for media and add it to the internal database and allow you to play it. When you get home, that media gets added into your permanent collection

I HATE not being able to add a few MP#s to my collection except fro one stinking computer.

Let me have internet integration with the Zune marketplace like the 360 does. Let me pick and subscribe to podcasts and other items; let the Zune slurp those down over WiFi.

Let me browse he internet and subscribe to Podcasts directly from the browser!

Flexibility.

HP Vivienne Tam Edition Mini 1000 hands-on

Jan 8th 2009 5:18PM (Engadget)
All the Mini 1000s look like that- I'm glad to see they haven't fixed it on the upper end version. :)
I noticed it on mine, and then stumbled across a forum where many people were lamenting the same thing.

So it's not just a prototype issue either...
It's definitely one of those things that once you notice it, it bugs the hell out of you. But functionally, it doesn't appear to have any impact. The folding doesn't seem off or anything.
