Well I'm really looking forward to my annual trip to Jackson Hole, but given the winter we're having in the states I'm guessing SSX may be my only chance at huge powder this year. Anything endorsed by Rice is fine by me though. It's gotta be better than Shaun White Snowboarding was.

The funny thing is that the original version of Choplifter was already a stick-man version of Choplifter. Graphics weren't too great back then.

@mrantimatter I loved the first Trine and eagerly await Trine 2, but since I pulled my credit card info a few months before the little security fiasco which we won't bring up again here, I stick to PSN cards. Wouldn't you know I have $14.18 in my psn wallet for a $14.99 game. Maybe I'll wait and see if Santa brings me some PSN love for xmas.

Oh man the Apple IIgs! I still have that in a closet somewhere. If this remake is half as fun I'll play it for ages. Now someone redo Lode Runner. Or just rerelease Sierra's remake from the 90's, that was pretty fun too.

Man I sure loved Tekken Tag Bowl. I wish Tekken Tag Tournament 2 would include that mode. I really don't want to purchase this "bundle" and pay for a movie and a demo.

I really don't. I guess I just still reference spears and bizkit because that's when popular music just got infuriating enough for me to turn off the radio for good. I remember Burnout 2 or 3 had a Von Bondies song I like. I have no problem with Kaz putting light jazz over menus though. That guy created Gran Turismo and races in the 24 hours of Nurburgring, he can pretty much make whatever wacky decisions he likes. Just so long as he fixes it later in patches and dlc :P

Sounds like your car is just too overpowered for the spec. They give you a list of what typical opponents power points are. Just make your car around theirs and if it's still too easy for you go below. GT5 makes a lot of options very configurable for the user, but it does rely on the user's self control. If you pick a car that's 200hp more than everyone else, you're gonna have an easy time winning.

I guess if you consider customization work then that's true, but the alternative is appealing to the lowest common denominator and licensing music that's just popular. So if you want a racing game full of Britney Spears and Limp Bizkit then be my guest, but I sure hope they leave me the option of deleting all that.

You can add any music you want to gt5. I liked some of the stock music, and some I didn't, but it was all too easy to throw my own mp3's in there so that's something they really got right. As for more exciting menus, I sure hope not. If anything I want the menus less exciting. More linear, more boring, faster loading. Not ridiculous menu layouts designed for a computer mouse that have to contact PSN in between every menu item.
