As a Mainer, I highly appreciate this. The leader of the Maine Christian League is proposing for a new law that would remove funding for civil rights clubs in high schools, make it illegal for gay couples to adopt children, make civil unions illegal and remove protections based on sexual orientation from the Maine Human Rights Act. Basically, Michael Heath is evil.

Just makes me wonder if Valve will tweak the new AI Director if they get an overwhelmingly negative response for it. I personally love the game, but you're completely right about the difficulty. It's insane. I don't remember being incapacitated or killed in the original as I am in the sequel. Perhaps this will simply push us to be "super players" eventually. Maybe Valve is getting serious about preparing us for a zombie apocalypse...

If anyone actually read Gabe's interview on G4, they should have picked up something very interesting in his last answer. Here's the Q & A:

Newell: Just so you know, the thing to me, that feels right, is the rhythm that Robin and his team are operating with. It’s like watching the reaction of that community, watching their ability to respond, looking at the quality of the work they’re getting with the length of those development cycles. They’re having a great time. And I think it shows on the other side, right? I mean, they were just giggling so hard when they were changing the buttons in the movies to say “leak video.” Do you remember the big screen with all the buttons? And they were like we have to put “leaks video” into that thing before we release it. They were just like cackling away. What should have been like, pretty demoralizing and stressful was for them, “Oh, this is no big deal.” So, yeah, people get the idea.

Notice that he is alluding to how Valve leaked the Meet the Spy video. It seems plain and simple to me now: Valve is going to leak details on HL2:EP3.

Face it. Valve is smarter than us. How dare you question your beloved game developers?

Did you ever consider the fact that they're going to use this money for Episode 3 and perhaps a new Source engine? I'm really sick of these "IVE BEEN BETRAYEDDDD" Valve boycotters.
