Besides, Nothing is truly green unless you grow it yourself, but once you use it, so your using resources... so ooops! its not green anymore.
But if I'm not mistaken, and I could be mistaken as I'm no expert in Carbon footprints, your local Coal burning Power plant has roughly less then half the carbon footprint of the same number of cars that it can power... But like I said I'm no expert and this is off the top of my head, so my figures are more then likely more inaccurate then Al Bundies Shoe recommendations.
