Most older cars won't have an option like this though, so you'll need to replace the whole head unit. You can get them for around $100 with AUX inputs, $150 also gets you USB, and $200 should also get you bluetooth.

No, they just set the DPI in the software lower. It is using the graphics for the lower resolution screens on the higher resolution screen. Basically using G1 icons which are smaller than Nexus One icons.

The Touch Pro 2 DID make it to Verizon, completely uncrippled. It was the original Touch Pro that was crippled and very late to the game.

Completely wrong. You don't seem to understand what you're talking about.

Take a look at the Touch Pro 2. Full GSM/UMTS radio in there. Can be used internationally to roam or unlocked and used in the USA as a GSM phone (only has European UMTS bands)

After having to use virtual keyboards (including Swype) on my Nexus One, I am never buying another phone without a physical keyboard again.

Swype is great, but it just can't compare to a nice physical keyboard.

The TP2 keyboard is actually the best keyboard on any mobile device, not the Sidekick.

How stupid is this? How about sticking a USB port on the mouse and keyboard so that you can plug them in and charge (or use them wired if you please.) For the mouse, why don't they just steal Logitech's mouse docks and call it their own magically new innovative invention?
