During the last ten minutes of this week's IGN Nintendo podcast one of the hosts mentioned hearing a rumour about a Resident Evil 2 remake. Those guys have a lot of inside information so that might have been an unintentional slip.

If Capcom can squeeze Dead Rising into Wii they can make a port of Resident Evil 5. Even if they make a sequel to Umbrella Chronicles I would be happy. It's great to see Capcom support Wii.

Speaking as a DS Lite owner, for that money I would rather buy the 8GB iPod Touch. I am not saying it is a better games system but it is new and significantly different to the DS Lite; the DSi is not.

Maybe we could build a fire, sing a couple of songs, huh? Why don't we try that?

Seriously, it is a loss for all game-playing Aliens fans but on the bright side Rebellion are working on a new game in the series. Personally I would have loved to see an Aliens lightgun game for Wii, much like Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles.

Sounds like you are from the Dawn of the Dead remake generation and expect zombies to run. In my day everyone knew that zombies stagger around slowly because of the rigor mortis. It's unrealistic to think zombies can run. In the end they'll get you by outnumbering you and that's science.

Seriously, how are we supposed to tell if zombies have really started infecting our cities when the news reports these incidents as pranks? Good thing we have the internet where everybody tells the truth.

I love it how some people think CAPCOM is not putting any effort into this game. Dead Rising looks fun, no matter how many times it gets compared to the XBox 360 game. It is too bad that all these people who want mature games on Wii will miss out because of some pre-conceived notion of what it should look like.

The Wii catalogue is fine and many of the games that sold well deserved it. If you have enough time to play all the good games on Wii then you have more free time than most people.
