@Yoshindo Ah, gotcha. "free Diablo 3 access" is weird wording. If they'd just said that people who buy the annual pass get a free copy of Diablo 3, that would have been a lot less confusing. Saying you get free access makes it sound like normally you have to pay to play Diablo 3, and it made me worry that there had been some announcement at Blizzcon that I'd missed saying that Diablo 3 was now a pay-to-play game or something.

What do you mean by "free Diablo 3 access to current World of Warcraft players". Isn't it going to be free to play Diablo 3 already?
