haha. I love when people get all concerned about framerate "problems". I remember when ping and pl were major concerns and framerate was just well, a number. Didn't matter what your framerate was if you were losing packets.

but yes, this is 360 in the vid. It's pretty easy to tell by the movement on screen (and the lack of direct hits).

this is a PC buy for sure. just hook it up to the tv and sit on the bean bag. done and done.

and yeah. it's totally not what TF2 was supposed to be. sigh. back when, you know, it was a mod. I miss the original TF.

Don't know anything specifically about B&O products (a little out of my budget) but looking at the Beolink remote (hoorah for google).
I could use that thing to press the buttons on my tv it's so big. Might be "high end" but damn is that thing huge.

aside: this is GE. so why is anyone surprised? it's OBVIOUSLY not geared towards the Engadget crowd. c'mon, it's low consumer level, Winners bin type remote. SHOCK!!!

This looks great. I've played the sim games from the start. Does anyone specifically remember SimEarth? awesome. anyway, it's a fun diversion on the go, it's something to work at.

To those bad mouthing it. ie. "blowing on it is dumb and the stylus is gimmicky". - if you don't like it. don't play it. if you think it's gimmicky. why do you have a DS? if you don't have a DS and don't like it. then the opinion is worth squat.

also. there are a lot more adults playing video games these days. why not play it in a park. it's a nice day, can sit outside. or is sitting in a dark, dank, lonely basement more to your liking?

granted it could be better in some respects, but as a reality check people. IT'S A DS!!! if you want the original. play it on pc. this is portable. they probably "could" have made it more involved. but that wouldn't lend well to the playing circumstances of a handheld. sigh.

I might actually buy this game. I loved the originals. this would be a nice taste of that while I'm on the subway.

Not only for ad revenue, but from a corporate design standpoint. X company is doing reno in the front foyer. Why not build in a moving art piece. I would imagine that this could be retrofit into any number of concrete surface walls being built (not just a flat, bland, grey slab). It would be an interesting addition. walk into an office to see a huge logo displayed on the wall.

It's also not technology likely to be used by average joe convenience store as I'd imagine the price tag for installation will be pretty high.

Probably real. The screen is in 16:10 (which is standard for all widescreen monitors). It follows with apple's design principals. The cable being different means nothing. It could be new, it could be old, it could be for testing. It's not photoshoped (notice the light bloom on the casing where the white on screen is, the refracted light on the edge and the screen moiring is really hard to duplicate to that extent. As for the label and SN, thats just speculation as well, if it's a pre-production unit, it will most likely have a dif sn/barcode from a production ipod.
It's possible it's a new ipod, it's possible it's a tablet (albiet a very small tablet). It's not fake, the product is real.
