What Sony's John Koller thinks about the DSi

Oct 7th 2008 3:39PM (Joystiq Playstation)
I'm so mad the psp-3000 does not include a camera...I guess I'll have to wait 6 months for them to release the psp-4000... "And that's all I have to say about that" (Forrest Gump).

Soulcalibur IV HD install size: 2.85GB with 2MB+ saves

Jul 9th 2008 3:00PM (Joystiq Playstation)
Since PS3 has become the complete God of systems with the 2.41 update, I have compiled a list of gripes I still have with the PS3....
PS3 gripes: could use newer model dylithium crystals so side affects of time travel would not invoke nausea..
ps3 gripes: Flux Capicator could be made internal and not an add-on accesory
PS3 gripes: physical displacement (transportation) should be accessible through the XMB.
Ps3 gripes: when using PS3 to hack a person's thoughts, the GUI could be slightly improved....
These are just a few, can anyone think of anymore?

Nintendo puts up Brawl PAL release date, yanks it down again, denies everything

Jan 31st 2008 2:11PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Well its no doubt that by the time the game is officially released in the U.S., Gamers overseas will have already been playing for a month straight, and they will be the guys who spank us in every match and make the online multiplayer not fun. This straight sucks. Thanks Nintendo for giving us the old screwgie. I freakin need a drink.

Super Smash SPOILERS [update 2]

Jan 30th 2008 10:23AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
People People... Pacify your fears with the thought that it is only a matter of time until we will be abandoning the message board for a full week while sinking out teeth into this awesome game. No more dreams about playing Brawl only to wake up dissapointed by the reality that the game is not out yet. No more wondering about which characters are in. Gripe Gripe Gripe, but imagine this game with fewer character than they have now. If it was the case, people would be complaining (Why not pokemon Trainer, why not Sonic, why not yada yada yada). It is impossible to fully satisfy the masses, and I believe that the SSB team did an excellent job at catering to as many people as they could. So lets just all pray that the game isn't pushed back again...Kumbyah!

So much Brawl to watch

Cancer patients without adequate health insurance tend to face grimmer odds than those with good health insurance, says the American Cancer Society. (http://www.webmd.com/cancer/news/20071220/no-health-insurance-dims-cancer-fate?src=RSS_PUBLIC)

Might have been wrong about Brazilian hospitals, but please don't lecture me about how all people, regardless of health insurance, are treated fairly...

@Sora
When is the last time you turned on the news? Do you understand that in Africa governments are so corrupt, that valuable mineral resources are unable to be mined there because it is not cost efficient after the government takes their cut (It’s called ARM). In Brazil they have guards outside of hospitals to stop the sick with no health insurance from getting inside. You mention that other governments have scientist who might possibly find cures, but you understand that America has a government agency known as the FDA that HAS to approve those drugs. Do you also understand that as the “World’s Superhero” The US government feels the need to regulate other countries’ policies and practices by any means necessary? Please do some research before you blindly call me ethnocentric. So why is it that these illnesses still exist? Could be population control, could be money, could be power, or it could be that a cure hasn’t been found … But I do hope you change your naive point of view, climb out of your crib and realize that the world is a f*ed up place.
