Vindictus teases build-a-golem mechanic

Sep 1st 2010 9:36AM (Massively)
Love how the golem uses the environment to form itself. Though I have a feeling from playing the closed beta that this game will be highly cash shop dependent which I think anybody can agree with is a huge negative.

Does it really take more than a day to announce a winner for a random drawing?

Rumor: Realtime Worlds lays off staff, puts APB up for sale [Updated]

When you spend 100 million on a game that should have never been released, but was because the suits at EA/RTW wanted money, this is what happens. Too many game companies are throwing out half ass games these days and then expecting people to wait around for months for patches.

This mixed together with that fact that PB once again accomplished nothing, and RTW has to manually ban people which for some reason takes a week or more to do so. Hackers ran wild on this game and nobody at RTW seemed to care. I know because I was a legit player gone hacker and I never got banned, never got booted, reported many times and nothing ever happened.

In the end....fail game is fail. Yeah sure it was fun. But what do you expect to happen when you toss out a half ass game that should have never been released?

Vindictus begins closed beta

Played it for a few hours last night and was blown away at how addicting it was. Nexon really did a good job with this game and I can't wait until the servers come back online(15 hour maintenance for the fail).

This, Rift, and TOR are at the top of my list as far as games go to look out for.

Skate 2 introduces 'Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Plaza' DLC [update]

Feb 19th 2009 3:33PM (Joystiq)
You should also mention that next week they are releasing a Skate 1 pack with remastered Skate 1 areas like the CC, the school and some other place, all for $5.

The official rock-n-rollin' Guitar Hero: Metallica setlist

Jan 25th 2009 4:38PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I have only three complaints...

Frantic? Really? You couldn't find a better song of Metallica's to put on there instead of Frantic? I mean if they clean it up it could be nice but that had to be one of Metallica's most god awful "big" songs.

And what is up with Ace of Spades? That song has been in nearly every Guitar Hero/Rock band game ever made. I like Motorhead and Ace of Spades is a great song but come on....it's gotten old over the past 4/5 years. Not to mention Motorhead has a lot of better songs suited for a GH: Metallica game.

Pretty disappointed that they didn't add any Death Magnetic songs on here, or can you still play them from GH: World Tour or whatever? Like if you downloaded the DM album would you be able to play it on this game? If not that is pretty gay.

Oh snap: Maxim scores 50 Cent 2 higher than Killzone 2, SFIV

Jan 20th 2009 2:41PM (Joystiq Xbox)
Take it from a guy who has a stack of Maxim's sitting right next to him, these guys don't know anything about anything other than how to airbrush Hollywood's hottest hoes to make them seem half attractive.

They butcher any sport they talk about, give bad game reviews, feature horrible cars, talk about crappy music....what else am I missing? I've gotten every issue for the past few years for free and while their articles CAN be funny, most of the time they have no idea what they are talking about.

EA confirms Thursday's Skate 2 demo release

Jan 7th 2009 3:29PM (Joystiq Xbox)
There are a lot of new things in Skate 2. New controls, new tricks. You can go online and make a custom graphic, upload it to the game and put it on your board, hat, or shirt.

You can basically move anything in the game to your liking, and even save it! Trust me, it's going to be crazy. This is coming from a guy that has played and still plays the original Skate for two years now.

The skate reel has been upgraded as well.

BioShock franchise has 'potential' for five sequels

Jan 7th 2009 3:24PM (Joystiq Xbox)
The only reason I never got Bioshock was because the demo got boring after a few replays. I mean it would have been fun for a while but it has nothing to offer beyond the story.

I couldn't even imagine trying to play six different Bioshock games. It'd be like the Madden of creepy/awkward games.
