BioWare investigating fix for Mass Effect 3 face import errors

@Chief Oddball

As far as I remember from last night, and you better believe I was pissed last night, being that I spent 3 hours trying to get my Shepard back, you can't make tweaks to your custom Shep in ME2 if you import from ME1. If that was the case, and I'm not 100% on this, wouldn't you just be able to grab the face code from the customization screen?

Anyway, Modio wasn't working for me in Windows XP SP3 (running on OS X Parallels), despite deleting .NET frameworks 1, 2, and 4, and DLing 3.5. I used Horizon instead, which got me EXACTLY what I needed -- the .xbsav file embedded inside of the ME2 data from my 360-formatted USB drive.

The next issue was the legion.cal24.pl website hour-long timeout, which according to the error on the webpage, had reached some sort of connection limit of 2000 per hour, so I had to wait and HOUR for that damn site to come back up so I could upload my .xbsav for YAML conversion to finally use on masseffecttools.99k.org.

Needless to say, except for having to change my Shep's eyebrows and start over again, I got my Shep back using these awesome acrobatics for a not-so awesome situation.

As a front-end developer, I can say this:

If the deadline wasn't self-imposed or from Epic, then someone needs to have a chat about timelines and milestones with the account team, producer, project manager, etc. I don't believe a dev team would willingly kill themselves like that. There's always a grace period, or at least should be.
