Didn't this already occur when Chevy or whoever started using the Ocean in their commercials? Led Zep has appeared in plenty of ads, I think that makes their music "corporate playthings" just as much as being in a video game does

Not sure what you're talking about, the ipod does not force you to sync with your library. If you turn on auto-update it does, sure, but as long as you leave it on manual update you just load whatever songs on it you want. No forcing you to sync.

completely agree, I used to be a big PC gamer but stopped playing around 2001 because I could no longer afford/care about keeping up with newest requirements every month, and switched to consoles. I'm really happy with the movement of games that used to be more PC focused, like elder scrolls and half-life, to xbox and I would love to see more of that

BAR was a fun and underrated game on N64, I've been looking for another game in that vein (ridiculous physics, focus on exploring/shortcuts) for a long time
