O Canada, PlayStation Network cards have arrived!

How about a worldwide release? At least in countries where there are official Sony stores.

Go to have same battery life as standard PSP

Not sure why ppl are fussing about the GO. It's not for users who already own a PSP. It's for news users who're considering a new portable device. Side to side with the iPod Touch, the PSP could make a good competitor. The price is in the same range of that of the iPod Touch. Although for users with an older PSP model the GO seems like a rip-off being a 5-year-old technology minus the UMD drive, new users will not notice this, because the GO will look like a totally new product to them. A smaller, sleeker, all-digital product will appeal to newcomers, and I foresee considerable success for the GO although I don't personally like it.

Looks like someone got paid.

Pachter says Sony is 'ripping off' consumers with PSP Go

Jun 11th 2009 9:19AM (Joystiq)
Sony products used to be more quality than they are now. I still can't believe the PSP-2000 I own is made by Sony. It's such a cheap plastic-y product. The original PSP (PSP-1000) was a majestic product. It made me buy the 2000 version without reviewing beforehand, which I still regret till now. Sony has ripped me off. And I'm not buying another PSP unless I check it out in a store and assess its build quality. You can know if a product is well-made once you hold it in your hands. The PSP-2000 was a such a disappointment that my belief in Sony has been shattered.

As of the PSP Go, even if its manufacturing quality is superb (which is what we're used to see from Sony), and I doubt it, the price tag is way too high for a 5-year old technology minus the UMD drive. So the guy's right. The PSP Go is a rip-off, and Sony is currently ripping off their customers like.no.other, and like.never.before.

Hmm.. thought it would be cheaper than the current PSP. I'll stick with my PSP-2000 then.

Lunar: Harmony of the Silver Star may get US release via XSEED

Not bad at all.
I especially like those old straight-forward RPGs, unlike the newer ones who are full of meaningless side-quests (like catching colored birds for no particular reason).
