if they want us to start buying content from them like music and movies, well they better offer us something to play it back on.
we already know that Microsoft doesnt like removable media like DVDs and Blu-Ray, so this will obviously be harddrive based and will plug into Vista Media Center via WiFi or Ethernet/USB.
i just paid for EP1 right now...downloadeing the build as we speak. If anything, that trailer made me want to play EP1 even more.
Those tripod things are amazing! talk about scary...just imagine the alien swarm sending these out to track down and destroy the remaining survivors of Earth...wow.
Valve is becoming exactly what I envision the evolution of gaming to be...a blending of movies and gaming with unique storylines and characters you can actually care about. everything is top notch, from the presentation to the voice talent.
im glad to spend my hard-earned money supporting a company that continues to deliver.
is not okay to bash homosexuals, but it IS okay to bash homophobics?
on one hand, people say it is irrational to be homophobic...but on the other people say it is irrational to be homosexual.
kind of a double standard if you ask me...its okay to be gay because its "natural" and "not mental" but its not okay to have a phobia of something even though it may be "mental"?
Its hard to finish games nowadays with working 40 hour weeks and such. I like the idea of a complete experience in the smaller dosage. I never finished Far Cry or Doom3...I did finish HL2 but that was a rare thing for me.
As us gamers (in their 20s) are getting older and becoming "adults" or whatever, I think this idea of smaller serving gaming experiences is great. As long as it nicely mixes the 'the you-get-what-you-pay-for' and 'bang-for-your-buck' cliches, im all for it.
I had an Ipod then sold it. Now I have the Creative MuVo TX FM. Its doubles as a USB stick and mp3 player. Its perfect because at work, i just plug it into my pc and listen to my music via winamp. i prefer winamp to any other software mp3 player.
when i hit the gym during lunch break or after work, i use it as a portible mp3 player. only during this time do i even need to use the battery. at work, i dont have to waste battery because im using the USB feature.
