Xbox Avatars suck - they all look pretty much the same, despite all the clothes and props available - there simply isn't enough facial-feature or body-build variation and the lack of ability to move/scale/rotate features makes nailing somebody's real-life character difficult. Even my kids find them uninspiring and bland.
It's much easier to capture a person's essence with the Wii's Miis. Fun fact: Wii's are based on Japanese kokeshi dolls - the key to the entire art form is the ability to covey expression with as few lines as possible, something Nintendo has done a bang-up job with on the Wii - there isn't a person I know that I can't capture in Mii form.
I so wish Xbox Avatars were better, I play that system 1000X more than the Wii.
The Splinter Cell series seems to be getting weak. Word to Ubisoft: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

C'mon - could the prince and his lady look any less f*cking Persian? The game must be set in that period in history when Persia was overrun with Caucasians (cough).
Dethfire: same thing happened to me... it could be a corrupt game save. Here's how I fixed it... 1. move your original save file (A) from the hard drive to a memory card 2. create a new dummy save file (B) from within Rock Band (saved to the hard drive), then quit 3. move original save file (A) back to hard drive - overwriting the dummy save file (B) 4. should work now :)
