I have a deep and abiding love for Rise of Legends. If I'm reading the insinuation correctly, it almost ruined their company? Unbelievable. I don't know or really care about Curt Shilling, but I'll thank him anyway for saving a great developer. I'm just sorry it had to play out like this.

EQ actually had 450k subscribers at its peak. That puts it as one of the most successful MMOs of all time, ahead of everything that isn't named WoW, Final Fantasy or Lineage.

I believe it. GamingSteve (a podcast/blogger with close friends at Blizzard) reports Starcraft 2 has actually been finished since October. The release is being held up until they finish Battlenet 2.0. The idea that Blizzard is waiting for all the factions to be perfectly tuned is a joke. They're going to patch and patch and patch SC2 forever, just like SC1.
