@Mechazawa Prime

I doubt very much that this is how you will be making your income. That is what "my bread and butter" refers.

Stan Van Gundy on Retiring No. 23: '(Jordan) Is Not Jackie Robinson'

Nov 14th 2009 7:56AM (Fanhouse NBA Blog)
The reason James took 23 was due to marketing with Nike. The reason Kobe took 24 was also marketing with Nike, i.e the next 23 is 24. Both marting ideas have not panned out like they would like bc everyone sees 23 and thinks MJ not James or Kobe. Tus Kobe switched eventually to a number he really wanted and James is now doing the same. And yes James wore 23 since his sophmore year is HS but don't be naive. Why do you think he swithed in his sophmore year? Everyone knew then what he was and what he would become....even Nike.

Now to who is the best. MJ and Kobe are definetly in the top ten. Lebron should make it someday but needs some rings to justify. His MVP was mis-awarded last year and I think Kobe deserved it. I think last years Finals pretty much reflect not only his tlent but also what he did throughout the entire year. Not to tkae anyting away from James bc he is extremely talented but at this point in his career he is over marketed. I have to agree that what Bill Russell did on the court as a player and couch, but more importantly as a person (just read about his life in the times he lived through, were athlecticly and personally incredible and deserves to be in the top 3 of all time. But we all have our opinions. BTW I personally think MJ was absolutely great. Being 37 years old I saw his entire professional career and it was truely amzing.

Bungie clears up Halo 3 rumors, reveals matchmaking updates

Aug 23rd 2008 1:46PM (Joystiq Xbox)
First, not that I really cared but it seems like the thing to do. Anywho, I was hoping that we would get new maps a la "Purple Haze" and maybe seeing the Legendary Map pack go for free. Oh well, wishing for too much I guess.

Xbox 360 getting 65nm GPU this fall?

May 1st 2007 5:51AM (Engadget)
If the 360 does drop a 65nm on us then it would make sense for fall and market it with Halo 3 release. Tell me that anyone that hasn't purchsed a 360 by then wouldn't pick it up with Halo 3 and 65nm. Noise is no big deal, but smaller or no brick would be a plus. And you would be able to tell if you purchased the 65nm model because that would probably have a new SKU just like the latest Elite package had a new SKU. As for HD DVD, I can live wihtout it until the movie/video and electronics companies finish thier war so we can see which of the two formats will come out on top, HD DVD or BluRay. Regardless of the HD DVD I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the fall timefram for the 65nm.
