I have an NEX-5 and I have to say I love it. I think the best way to understand it though is not to think of it as a camera. It is not for people who love cameras. Sony is a gadget company and the NEX-5 is a gadget which takes very, very good pictures. I have to say my favorite aspect about the thing is that it tends to evoke violent reactions, positive and negative, from people who spend a lot of time around cameras and feel that they should be a certain way.

In terms of usability, I think it's fine. It's different. But it's fine.

Presumably the same things which prevent soldiers from going into battle with two rifles instead of one.

I thought normal was really hard too. But I couldn't stomach the idea that I couldn't play this game on the normal setting so I soldiered on until I became good.

Or 3 people, 3 computers, 3 zunes, 1 zune pass, at $5 a month for unlimited music.

It probably depends on what you want in a device. I mean, since the 80GB Zune came out Zunes have been better than the iPods if what you're interested in is music and only music. In any case, it's sort of silly to comment on the quality of the operating system when it isn't out yet.

But I've been waiting for this since I lost my zune in march! I want it now!

Is NVIDIA still the way to go for top performance and ATI for cost-effective performance?

It's more like if you told me you were an antelope and I assured you that you were definitely not an antelope and in fact you were a human. While I could keep an open mind based on the fact that I've never seen you or spoken with you, there is really no need to because there is no way you're an antelope.
